Thanksgiving, The Real Deal
If you're from certain parts of Massachusetts, you were also taught this in school. The town I grew up in, Medfield, was established in about 1660 right before the King Philip War between the Puritans and the Wampanog's started. In 8th grade we went on a bicycle tour of the town where our teacher pointed out where people were murdered and scalped in the woods by the Native Americans.
COOL! Thanks for the reminder, Rob.
